What should I expect from your service?

You can expect a warm, friendly service with absolutely no judgement. Every decision about what to keep or let go will always be yours. I’ll listen carefully and together we’ll create a clear vision of what you want to achieve. We’ll work at your pace, in a way that feels comfortable, and always with your goals in mind.

How long does it take to declutter a home or specific room?

This is a difficult question to answer because it depends on the number of items in the space and how easy or challenging it feels for you to make decisions. Sentimental items, for example, often take longer to work through than everyday belongings. During our initial consultation I’ll give you an estimate, and additional hours can be added if needed. The most important thing is that we work at your pace so you feel in control and never overwhelmed.

Can you adapt your organising support if I have ADHD, mobility issues, or need things done differently?

During our initial consultation we’ll talk through any accessibility needs, preferred pace, or ways you like to work. Throughout every session I’ll listen closely and adapt my approach so you feel comfortable, supported and in control. My aim is to make the whole experience positive, encouraging and enjoyable.

Will I need to buy storage solutions?

As part of our consultation we’ll talk about your vision for the space and whether you’d prefer new, matching storage solutions. I usually recommend starting with decluttering first — once we’ve streamlined your belongings, you may find you already have all the storage you need

Do I need to do anything before the first session?

Having a few bags or boxes ready can be really helpful, as it makes it easier to gather items that are leaving your home. Other than that, there’s nothing you need to do. Decluttering and organising can be tiring, so for now just put your feet up, relax, and enjoy a nice cup of tea.

What locations  do you cover?

I work within the Bromley Borough and the surrounding local areas. If you’re outside my area, please do give me a call — and if I’m unable to help, I’ll happily suggest ways to find a local declutterer and organiser.

Apart from my home, what other spaces can you help with?

I can help with a wide range of spaces beyond the home. Garages and sheds are common areas that benefit from organising, and home offices often become cluttered — especially when they’re used for multiple purposes. I also support clients who have belongings stored in large storage facilities.

How do you use your Coaching Skills within the decluttering and organising sessions?

A key part of coaching is to build rapport with clients.  This means that I keep my focus on you.  I provide an environment where the aim is that you feel comfortable to open up to me and make decisions without being judged.  Having a goal is a key part of coaching.  From this I will find out about your current situation and then by gently asking questions we can work towards your goal.  Please rest assured, I will never tell you what you need to do

Can you help me with downsizing or moving?

Yes I can.  I recognise that moving home is becoming increasingly expensive, so my aim is to help you save money and feel confident about the vision for your new space. By reducing clutter before you move, you can make real savings on removal costs — and avoid simply shifting items from one loft to another.

 

I can also help you find charities for items you no longer need, ensuring you only take what you genuinely want.  On a final note, clearing the clutter can also increase the saleability of your home, helping potential buyers see its full potential.
